I’m Jay, an artist and maker based on the shores of Long Island. My journey into craftsmanship began with a love for working with natural materials, the texture of a brushstroke, and the light captured through a lens. For me, creativity is a way of life, not just a profession.
Each piece I create , whether it’s hand-made jewelry, a finely crafted woodwork project, an expressive painting, or a moment frozen in time through photography, tells a story. It’s about honoring the materials, embracing imperfections, and bringing a piece of nature and humanity together in something lasting.
I believe that the objects we surround ourselves with should be meaningful, durable, and beautiful. They should reflect the hands that made them and the world they came from. Whether I’m in the workshop, behind the camera, or at the easel, my goal is to make work that speaks to the soul, celebrates the beauty of the natural world, and invites a slower, more intentional pace of life.
